Unknown History: How Slaves and Former Slaves Shaped Our Nation

In this four-class series, we will explore the incredible and overlooked influence that slaves or former slaves had on shaping American history. Through these classes, we will gain a deeper understanding of how enslaved people played a pivotal role in shaping the lives and decisions of some of our nation's most influential figures, ultimately leaving an unforgettable mark on the fabric of our nation.
Classes include:
- George Washington and His Three Special Slaves
- Jefferson and the Hemings Family
- How the War Changed Lincoln
- A Partial Bio of Frederick Douglass
